we are back!

We are delighted to announce that we are back to our normal business hours in the shop! Of course we’re still operating all the usual Covid safety measures with masks required, hand sanitiser at the door, no more than 2 customers in the shop (on opposite sides of the shop to allow for social distancing) and we still prefer you to pay by contactless if you can. These safety measures mean that our customers may sometimes need to queue on the street, but we promise that once you get inside we have so many amazingly delicious products that it’s worth the wait!

Now that restrictions have been eased a bit you may find yourself in need of some extra nibbles and treats for the socialising you’ll be doing outdoors. We have you covered with an ever changing variety of cheese from I.J. Mellis Cheesemongers, charcuterie from East Coast Cured, crusty sourdough bread from Company Bakery and so many other locally sourced products to excite your palate. Our Grazing Boxes and Picnics are just the thing to share round with your loved ones as you catch up on all the things you’ve missed over the past several months. We have your tipple sorted too with a handpicked selection of wines from L‘art du Vin, Pilot Brewery Beer, Scruffy Dog Cider, Valentia Gin and Lundin Distilling Rum and Gins (we adore their bright and fruity Ripple, Crush and Peach Gins).

With Father’s Day around the corner (Sunday 20th June) we have lots of hampers to treat Dad. Perhaps he’s a beer aficionado and would appreciate our Beer & Nibbles Hamper or maybe he’s more of Gin guy, in which case a Gintastic Hamper would be right up his street. You can’t go wrong with the classic Cheese & Charcuterie Hamper, or maybe the Delicious Scotland Hamper, which is always a big hit. We’ll be well stocked with cards to celebrate Dad too.

Hopefully we’ve seen the last of the snow and it’s sunshine all the way from here until Autumn (we like to keep it optimistic here at P&P), so let’s raise a glass to family and friends, to long overdue catch ups and to happy days filled with good times and good eats!
