Our Story

We are Amanda and Pamela and our partnership has grown out of a mutual love for delicious food, baking, farm shops, delis and (of course) wine.

We opened our bricks and mortar shop, Post and Pantry, in 2017 after completely renovating the old village post office. Our personal goal was to create a work/life balance that suited our families while flexing our foodie creativity. Our professional goal was to create a fun and inviting shop that offered something different to the locals and provided an efficient post office experience.

In November 2022 we expanded into a second premises just a few doors up the High Street. Our original shop remains the Post Office where we have transformed it into a fun and unique Stationers full of lovely journals, writing sets, cards, gift wrap, books and gifts. P&P Delicatessen is now in a much larger unit and contains a full cheese counter, fresh artisan coffee, fresh baked bread and pastries, a small zero waste re-fell section and so much more!

All our amazing products are handpicked by us. We seek out local artisans, artists and crafters who share our passion for quality to bring you products that are tasty and unique. We’ve become famous for our flaky crusted quiches (not a soggy bottom in sight), quirky flavoured scones and rich chocolatey brownies that we bake weekly. We offer indulgent specialty Picnic Baskets and Cheese & Charcuterie Grazing Boxes that go perfectly with our exclusive wine selection.
